Jim Cookman is a partner at Laurel Renewable Partners, LLC. Previously, he served as President and COO of US Wind Force, LLC and its subsidiaries. In addition, he is a successful entrepreneur of 35 years with businesses in a variety of fields including insurance, finance, real estate, and communications. Jim is politically active at the local, state and national levels and has held appointed positions in West Virginia under three different Governors. He studied at WVU where he earned an NCAA football scholarship, and ultimately earned a BS degree in Engineering from Fairmont State College. Mr. Cookman currently resides in Petersburg, West Virginia with his wife, Cathy. 

Dave Friend is a partner at Laurel Renewable Partners, LLC which he co-founded in 2013. Previously, he served as Chairman and CEO of US Wind Force, LLC. Prior to co-founding US Wind Force, Dave spent 23 years as an employee of Allegheny Energy, Inc. and its subsidiaries in a variety of managerial capacities.  A graduate of Penn State University and Point Park University, Mr. Friend holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Dave resides in Greensburg, Pennsylvania with his wife, Cindy. 

Mike Dolan is a Founding Member and CFO of SSL Energy Solutions, LLC. Previously, he served as the CFO of Appalachian Lighting Systems, Inc., the CFO of US Wind Force, LLC, and was the Corporate VP of Operations Review with US Food Service. Other previous experience includes his role as Controller of F. H Bevevino & Company, a foodservice distributor.  Mr. Dolan received his BS in Economics from Wilkes University. Mike resides in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania with his wife, Lynn, and two sons. 

Joe Trainor is the owner of Crown Strategies, LLC. Previously, he served as a co-founder and director of US Wind Force, LLC, and earlier served as its VP of Operations.  Joe joined US Wind Force following his retirement from the United States Secret Service. During his 28-year career with the service, he served in numerous roles, including Deputy Assistant Director, and as a member of the Presidential Protective Detail during multiple administrations.  Joe graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Industrial Marketing. He currently resides in Baden, Pennsylvania with his wife, Karen. 

Doug Vance is an Operations and Maintenance Project Manager for Clearway Energy Group, the owner and operator of the Pinnacle Wind Farm at NewPage.
